Based on the early results, Eric DeCosta might have made his most successful draft since he became Ravens general manager four years ago.

The Ravens have 11 picks during April's annual NFL draft and it's possible that at the very least five or four of them will could end up playing in some capacity this season even if there aren't any injuries.

It can take anywhere from the three-to-4 year mark to assess the value of a draft group, however, it has proved impressive in the first few days of the training camp.

Now that we look back the first class that DeCosta took in 2019 was a flop and the Ravens choosing Oklahoma wide receiver Marquise Brown in the opening round.

Then Louisiana Tech outside linebacker Jaylon Ferguson, and Notre Dame wide receiver Miles Boykin in the third.

None of the picks remain in the hands of the Ravens. Brown has been traded to Arizona Cardinals on the opening day of the draft.

For a first-round selection that was Iowa centre Tyler Linderbaum, which made the pick slightly salvable.
